Comic Book Legend, Glen Colan dies

It was a sad day for comic book fans as the Associated Press reported last thursday that, Glen Colan passed away in hospice from complications stemming from liver disease and a broken hip at the age of 84. Colan is best known for characters Daredevil, Howard the Duck, Iron Man and Batman. Colan started his career illustrating for Wing Comics, then Timely Comics which later became Marvel Comics and finally did freelance work for DC Comics which was then known as National Comics. In the 70’s, his illustrations were of memorable characters such as Captain America and Doctor Strange. Colan is also known for co-creating the vampire hunter Blade. Colan will be heavily missed and live on in the illustrations and creations he has left behind. RIP Glen Colan.
